A Prayer

Without lips, we cannot smile

Without nose, we cannot smell

Without eye, we cannot see

Without You, we cannot be.

Lord, have mercy on us

Come and please fill our hearts

Fill our lives

Stay with us.

We have sins, we feel pains

We disobey and so we fail

But we help and we care

We love and we share.

Typhoon destroyed the victims' homes

Destroyed their wishes and hopes

And so we pray asking for Your help

And for more strength to stand.

Let them feel Your presence

Let them feel Your love

For new life and hopes

For new beginning and challenges.
